The Russian Trade Mission in the Netherlands is a part of the system of government institutions of the Russian Federation abroad. Its main task is to promote favorable trade and political conditions for Russian exporters, importers and investors in the Netherlands and to provide methodological support to mutually beneficial economic cooperation between Russian and Dutch businesses.

The Trade Mission offers a wide range of information and consultative services to Russian and foreign companies involved in foreign trade activities in the following areas:

- specific research and analysis of the Dutch market;

- analyzing the general economic situation in the Netherlands and preparing recommendations on the most promising lines of development of the Russian-Dutch trade and economic relations;

- comprehensive mediation in the elaboration and conclusion of export-import contracts;

- providing a state support to major investment projects;

- searching for foreign partners at the request of Russian businesses involved in foreign trade;

- preparing business information about a foreign partner, containing recommendations on possible cooperation;

- supervising the fulfillment of the concluded contracts;

- facilitating settlement of possible trade disputes;

- conducting preliminary negotiations with foreign companies on joint ventures or cooperation with interested Russian organizations;

- promoting the accreditation of Dutch companies in Russia;

- handling organizational issues concerning presentations of Russian regions and exhibitions of Russian goods in the Netherlands including those held at the premises of the Russian Trade Mission in Amsterdam;

- informing Russian and foreign trade companies about national and international exhibitions and economic forums held in the Netherlands, providing organizational and technical support to Russian participants;

- organizational and technical support to Russian businesses in their negotiations with foreign partners;

- consulting on Dutch commercial law and legal practice in the field of foreign trade;

- consular support upon the request of Russian companies.
